KinLogs+ for companies
A company with one director can stop overnight.
When a sole director dies or loses capacity, nobody may have the authority to run the company, pay staff or use its bank account until a new director is appointed. KinLogs+ records who can step in and what they need to do first.

Who can appoint a director?
KinLogs+ asks about your articles, whether you have a reserve director, and how your shares pass under your will, so your executors know whether they can act.
Does your power of attorney cover the business?
An attorney can usually vote your shares but can't act as a director. KinLogs+ flags it if your arrangements leave a gap.
What must not be cancelled?
Professional indemnity on a claims-made basis, personal guarantees and the director's loan account all go into the plan.
Clients and platforms
Contracts with notice. Services that must be wound down properly.
Record each client's contract, notice period and work in progress. If you run a software product or hosted service, record how it runs, who can operate it and what the contract says about ending it.
- Notice periods in the plan. "Tell Harbourside Retail Group: 90 days notice, six assessments booked."
- Wind-down terms. "Clause 14: 60 days notice, export within 30 days, delete 30 days after export."
- Who can keep it running in the meantime, and how to reach them.

Insurance and accreditations
Run-off cover, not a cancelled policy.
For each policy, KinLogs+ records the basis of cover and whether run-off is needed. The plan warns against cancelling claims-made cover and lists which accreditations to withdraw.
Closing properly
From first calls to formal closure.
The closure and handover plan takes your successor or executor from appointing a director, through clients, staff, suppliers, the office and the bank, to closing the company formally with the accountant. It explains the difference between striking off and a liquidation, and why that matters.
- Office and equipment. Notice periods, key fobs and anything with value.
- Subscriptions in a sensible order. Design tools first, email kept for a year, password manager last.
- Records kept for as long as they must be. Where they are, and for how long.

LLPs and partnerships
Your share, the agreement, and the other partners.
For an LLP or partnership, KinLogs+ asks about your members' or partnership agreement instead of articles: what it says happens on death or incapacity, who the other members are, and how your share is valued and paid out.
